This is very poorly made. The item is 5inches too small. Also the print directions are for the larger size so do not correspond with the actual item.Have ordered several different latch hooks and have never had this problem before.

I wanted to love this kit. The backing is very nice, and it was easy to hook, despite being pre-backed. The key is in color, and is very easy to read. However, the printing on the canvas is VERY far from the key, and I found the canvas printing confusing. If I had followed the canvas as the directions state, I would not have an image which resembles the one on the photo at all. My biggest problem, however, is that unlike more expensive kits, this one does not tell you how much of each color you need OR are sent. I began this project in late October with the intention of make it a Christmas present. I do not have NEARLY enough of the sky blue yarn to complete it - I presume I'm missing at least two bundles. I have WAY more of both red colored yarn than I need, so I'm presuming there may have been an issue there. I've purchased some similar yarn and after impressing my DH into work cutting lengths for me, I intend to finish the project, though it will not match perfectly. I wanted to like this kit, but it has become a major hassle and disappointment. To be entirely truthful, Amazon latch hook kits are pretty terrible. If you want a good kit, I suggest shopping elsewhere.

This pattern is absolutely beautiful! And this is the second one I bought for my seven-year old daughter, she was thrilled to receive the kit. Very easy to follow, product comes with everything you need. I am rushing through her completed projects.

I've done many latch hooks and have never encountered such terrible yarn quality...some were too thick, too thin, some short, some long and kinked, but the worst was that so many were fraying/unraveling terribly (straight out of the pack), but had to still be used, especially as there weren't enough of the light blue. There were enough of the other colors. Some would fray as soon as they were pulled through and had to be removed. In the end, it looks good from a distance, and the design is beautiful, hence the two stars, but it was very frustrating at times. The latchhook backing had an odor when it arrived, but that did go away. I followed the key and not the color prints on the latchhook and it was correct in the number of rows length and height. Fix the yarn quality and you'd have a great product.
