I'll know more after we determine how long this will last.Revision -- 1/15/15 and now I know. I put this toner cartridge in service on 11/11/2014, a couple of months ago. A couple of days ago, the checks printed with it suddenly printed so light in a vertical band just left of center that we had to throw away most of that batch of checks. The printer showed the cartridge at 70% full and that matched with number of checks printed on this cartridge. After shaking up the toner cartridge, checks printed fine -- for one day. Then we were back to unusable output and wasting checks. The result is we have thrown away this toner cartridge and will not be using one of these again. This is the fourth cartridge used in the this check printer and all others (made by another manufacturer) have worked as expected. I've downgraded my review to one star. This cartridge cost me much more than it could possibly save.**************************************************************************************************************Around 1/19 the toner manufacturer's rep tracked me down. He explained that this performance was not typical of their product. Further, he is shipping another toner cartridge plus crediting a portion of the cost of the original toner cartridge. As a result, I will rate this cartridge a second time after I install the replacement cartridge and use it to establish its performance. BUT, it is MHO that the effort expended to date shows a credible effort so I'm changing my rating for 3 stars. As mentioned prior, I will rate the new cartridge after we have experience with it. Thanks.***************************************************************************************************************************************************************3/16/15 I have finally run out of toner in one of our MICR printers and installed the replacement cartridge that Renewable Toner's Alan Fuller sent us. We'll record number of checks we write on the replacement cartridge and we returned the defective cartridge to see if it tells RT anything interesting. I'll comment when we deplete this toner cartridge.

This toner worked perfectly fine for all applications requiring magnetized toner, specifically printing of blank MICR-encoded check stock.I have purchased several cartridges for several HP M400 printers that I have in multiple locations and have had no problems with any of them.All checks have been accepted by banks as expected including those with magnetic readers as well as optical ones.I have not yet seen whether the stated capacities (6900 pages) are accurate or not. I received 1 free cartridge in exchange for sharing my experience on this forum.

We don't use a lot of this because all we do is print checks with it. We have had no issues with this toner. It seems to work fine.

I needed a new MICR cartridge for my new HP printer. This cartridge was packaged well and arrived on time. It has been installed and used for about a week and the print is exceptional! The cartridge works extremely well with the HP printer and produces an excellent finished product. Highly recommend the company and this toner cartridge!

Shipping was very fast and these toners are great. We seem to print alot of checks for our business and it is so nice to be able to purchase an affordable (about half of what we were paying locally) reliable product.

Purchased this for our HP 400 MPF. it is great buy. bought 3 batches of 13 in total, none had any leaks or error message. a great buy for anyone who needs a MICR toner.

We use this in our office to print all of our checks. This toner cartridge works fine with our printer.

Have had this in use for about four months now, have printed lots of checks with no issues. Will be purchasing another when it starts to run low.
