product works fine, exactly what you'd expect
BE CAREFUL WITH ORDER.product works fine, exactly what you'd expect. But be careful... I've ended up paying £8 for ONE ice pack. Despite the product description saying pack contains 20, and the pricing saying that the price is 41p per ice pack. (Implying a price divided by 20)Having received a huge box with only one pack in it I've been left disappointed, and although it's partially me to blame I think it can be a bit misleading on this order page.

Handy to have
Very handy to keep a box of these at home if you have a clumsy household of sometimes idiotic crazy kids. It's a big box, so best to always keep 1 or 2 in your medicine cupboard, then store the rest. We also keep one in the car just in case/on hand for sports practice. The ice packs themselves are large. So great for wrapping around whichever body parts needs it.Much better than the tiny rigid toddler cool packs you keep in the fridge which are impossible to curve around foreheads etc.Very pleased with these, they've saved the day on numerous occasions.Easy to use.Convenient - we'd get loads of frozen peas scattered across our floors before we bought these.Con:Bought these in Jan 2021.Lot stamp shows manufacture Jan 2020.Use by date is Jan 2023.So a bit mean of seller to sell me products that have been sitting on a shelf for a year and have lost a third of their legal lifespan... I've taken 2x stars off of the "value for money" rating.

Really handy but cold doesn't last very long
My son plays in tournaments and invariable there will be bumps, sprains and bruises. Like last weekend, he dived for the shuttle and landed on his knee. It wasn't a bad knock as he landed mainly on his tummy but it was hard enough to cause the tissues over his knee cap to swell. Reached into the bag, got on of these out, crushed it and put it on the knee. It helped him continue for the day. That's the beauty of these ice packs. Sheer convenience. We always have 2 to 3 of these in our sports bags. My only gripe is that the cold doesn't last very long. I reckon after 15 minutes, it's really lost alot of its effectiveness. Anyway, we still use it and it's a lifesaver if there isn't an ice machine at the sports facility where you're at.

Not bad
I'm using the 'proper' Kool Pak ice packs at home to help treat an achilles injury and I wanted something that I could use for 15 minutes at work in the middle of the day. This does the job, though not brilliantly. It's easy to activate, squeezing the pack to burst the inner bubble, and you then mix it all up and it's cold in about 30 seconds. It was cold, but I didn't find it cold enough to risk 'ice burn' and it was able to go directly on the skin, though the directions warn against this. After the 15 mins of use it had warmed up a fair bit and was ready for the bin. I'm hoping this is biodegradable, though the print on the item doesn't say it is.

These are fantastic. Highly recommend them
These are fantastic. Have been using these for years. Cools really well and lasts quite a while. They need to be squeezed in the middle to break an inner pack to activate, and the pressure required to do so is just right - not too much so as to struggle to activate it, and not too little to cause it to activate prematurely in your bag or wherever you carry it due to inadvertent squishing. After activation, the contents inside take a liquid form. Just once, out of many many packs used, a pack developed a slight leak (that too after use and it had lost its coolness) and leaked a few drops onto my son's bare skin but it didn't do any harm. We simply rinsed it off.
