Fun World Lifelike Striking Snake - Motion Activated

I bought it not for Halloween, but for scaring squirrels from digging up my plants in pots on my deck. Hey, it worked!!!!!!

Had motion sensor snakes years ago that lasted many years. Really like them. We live in country and use these beside trash can to keep coons from getting into and scattering garbage and in and around plants to keep deer from eating my plants. These snakes are not that good and didn’t last but a couple months. Too expensive for the low quality.

... I THINK! I bought it as a raccoon deterrent for my fish pond. The rattling and hissing sounds are quite loud and the red eyes and striking motion are awesome. I can't imagine WHY it wouldn't work. So far ... so good ... no creatures!

The sensor is aimed straight up at the snake. So it does not read anyone or anything walking by nor standing inches in front of it. My cat sniffed the whole thing then sat down directly in front of it -- nothing happened. To set it off, I literally had to reach in and hold my finger half an inch above the sensor. Which as you recall is pointed straight up at the snake's chin. If you are using this in a yard or garden, the animal would have to crawl up the base before the snake would activate. Tried 2 sets of brand-new Duracell batteries. Back to China it goes.

Really startles people. The grandkids hid it in closets, cupboards ect...

This thing is scary! It does need light, but it's so fun.
