shimano who? bang for your buck
for the price you simply cant go wrong with these pedals. id say a solid 50 mile break in and they are butter. use at your own disgression as riding with cleats is sketchy if youre a beginner i wouldnt recommend i personally have eaten crap because i couldnt put my feet down in time simply bc of these pedals but charge it to the game. i have a pair on my mtb, single speed, and i just ordered this third pair for my new fixed gear but i have decided to go a different route as i am new to this and i impulsively got these pedals since i have them on my other bikes but fixed gear is a whole new story. sadly will return this pair but if you look hard enough you can find "venzo" sells a combo with cleats and these here pedals for like 69.99 cannot beat that and the cleats are awesome quality for me for my first two pairs ever just always get a size smaller imo my first pair was my size but too big. again these pedals are solid after my wipeout they had some serious rash and still no issues in the tension between pedal and my cleat etc. spend 80$ on a pair of pedals that will do the same as these!

Great starter pedals
I had to dig a little bit to find them on this site but am very satisfied with them. These were my first set of clip in pedals and have not had any issues using them. The tension is adjustable and the initial setting was a little tight but totally adequate. I intend to use these for a mountain bike but currently use them on my hybrid road bike. I’m still practicing but getting better at clipping in when starting out, what helps is the pedal doesn’t spin around too much, it’s easy to get your foot on the flat to engage the cleat. I’m glad I jumped in with using these full clip pedals as opposed to the mixed design,

Not strong enough for the Peloton bike
One pedal broke off of the welded portion within the first three months. They are recommended by Peloton (for their Peloton Bike) if you want to switch out to SPD's. These pedals are not strong enough to withstand the intensity of the workouts and I've been riding/spinning for over 10 years. I went to my local cycle shop and purchased a stronger pair (at 4 times the price) and it was a better fit for me. The seller did get back with me right away but I told my cycle shop to throw away the broken pedal. So I could not provide a picture of the broken pedal for a refund.

These are great SPD pedals at the $30 price point!!
These pedals are great for the $30 price point. I put 1300 miles on them last year (my brand new road bike), not a single problem. I simply lubed the pivots with bike chain lube and wipe them clean. You have to take of your machines if you expect them to perform, yes this is machine!. I'm buying another pair for my wife's new bike today. Clip in/out operations are very dependable, never experienced any problems. I actually have the same pedals on my Triathlon bike and did a full Ironman and well as 2 half Ironmans and they have held up great! No need to spend hundreds on fancy pedals and shoes.

So far so good
Bought this for my old Marcy Club Trainer. It was super easy to install. Although it feels not as sturdy as the ones in the gym, so far, it's holding up ok. It was easy to clip/unclip. I use the pedals with my Pearl iZumi shoes.
