I have ataxia--it affects my speech, as in limited volume, slurring, and pronunciation. I read about the glass pipe and figured it would be helpful in the warm-up of voice for my speech therapy. The pipe was not wrapped carefully and a portion (inside box) had come free from outside mailing. There were no instructions. None. I found a website that touted the "straw's" value. But that wastoo little for me. I took it to my speech therapist, thinking she would know the ins and outs of this $19 value. She told me that the same effect can be achieved with water and a straw. Advanced users might find a coffee stirrer helpful. It was a hopeful purchase but this "Made in Sweden" product fell far short.
