it is very easy to use, my Xilinx ISE recognizes this device immediately. very happy to have it with so low cost.one thing is that the size of 2mm ribbon cable connector is little bit larger to fit in my design, but anyway it is manageable.

Doesn't work in linux with Vivado 2019.2. This enumerates on USB as a 'vender specific class' and not a tty port like the other adapters I've seen. Vivado doesn't seem to think it exists.

WARNING: This product only includes a LARGE female socket 2.0mm connector, it does NOT fit into the standard JTAG 2.0mm shrouded headers.Explanation, a lot of quality/small equipment uses shrouded Molex JTAG 14 pin connectors, digikey PN WM17469-NDThe 2.0mm JTAG cable connector included with this item can only fit into the larger width shrouded 14 pin connected similar to digikey PN S9019-NDGo to digikey site and check out the difference in the width of the header.If you only have the 14 pins sticking out without the shroud, then the included connector cable will fit because the shroud will not interfere.Otherwise this product is good, just need to make my own JTAG cable from 2.54mm (0.1") to 2.0mm Molex connector. Was not able to find an adapter cable with those particular connectors online.

Lots of extra ribbon connection cables. I ended up using the flying leads. Works great. Used it to program Xilinx CPLD using ISE 14.7.

This programmer is not supported by latest Xilinx Vivado 2019.2. Confirmed by another user. Unsupported by Linux and Windows Vivado versions. Returned.

LUCINE - Compatible XILINX USB Platform Cable arrived quickly and was well packaged (thanks Amazon). The compatible programmer is awesome. It works without any issue and is nearly identical to the programmer I used at another company. I use mine for the xc9500 CPLD family to program the chain via the JTag pins. The supplied cables are nice but I did find them just a little bit on the short side. The small adapter board would have been better accepted if it had a small housing but it is not a bother. You will want to make certain it does not come into contact with your board and device being programmed. I had a small thin piece of anti-static foam that I wrapped around the board after I had a small ribbon cable installed. This wrap prevents it from shorting out anything on our board. The main program box is well labeled and is a great product. The included ribbon cables are a basic generic cable if you do lose or damage them. Without getting in to too much detail there is not a lot more to say. I use the Xilinx ISE software and this works without any problems at a far lower price than the Xilinx programmer. Yes - I would highly recommend this product and will use it at every chance I have.
