They glow well, but are too large
The are all nice colors, and glow nicely. Wife loves them (her idea).I do wonder if they're too bright, keep the fish awake?My only concern is that compared to gravel I have used before, they are huge - and for a top filter aquarium, the uncaught food falls between and below them too easily. I may be forced to create a bottom filter style platform like was present in 'bubbler in tube type aquarium' and connect power filter intake to it... more work.

Kind of pricey
If you are looking for a good value this is not it. I ended up having to buy a second bag because this was not enough to cover the bottom of my tank. You can purchase a larger bag of a similar product at Walmart for less money.
