Cord works so far and is very high quality.

After 3 days of my new astro headset my wonderful cat Mr. Beans decided I did not spend enough time tending to her. so she surprised by adding bite marks and tearing through the wire. so there I am with a 3 day old $160 retail astro headset that does not work because of the wire, ready to through them out i decided to look trough amazon for my replacement headset and low and behold amazon offered the wire sold separately my prayers where answered saving me $150 on a new set. all i had to spend was $10. super happy.

it works

I like the cord a lot especially after my dog ate the cord that came with the original. As a matter of fact it still works with no problem on my pc but if I connect it to my PS5 controller there is an echo that I can't get rid of no matter what I do. Fortunately for me I can't hear it but I think other people have started to get annoyed forcing me to shop for another cable from someone else.

This is not the real factory cable. Super poor quality. Has a constant humming in headphones from cheesy wires. Returning for refund. Why is there so much junk on Amazon?

I purchased this after my original cord broke from an unfortunate incident where I stepped on the cord while it was strained. It worked excellently until a few days ago. About 2 months after the purchase the cord stopped practically working. If the cord is moved sightly, I lose audio in my right earpiece, and sometimes both. Overall, it's a great cord, but I'd only use it until a replacement Astro brand cable arrives.
