Light easy to use and learn
I bought this for my grand daughter's 8th birthday. It is good quality for the money and easy to learn for a beginner. The foot pedal is not working. I hope when i put batteries in this will work. I may need to get a new foot pedal. Everything else functions well. Like the directions and xtra supplies included.

Totally dissatisfied !
I bought this sewing machine for my 7.5 granddaughter for Christmas. Unfortunately she wasn't able to start using it until February-March . The foot peddle didn't work at all , very disappointing . However , she was continued using it but not easy to guide the fabric and at the same time turn the on/off switch , off . After 2-3 sewing sessions it stopped completely ! Her Mom had the warranty and submitted the complaint , along with her review but today hasn't heard from anyone . Totally unsatisfactory :(Is there any way we can get a refund or a replacement ? Would not recommend !.

Works better than expected.
This machine worked better than expected. Purchased for my young niece. Worked right out of the box and has many stitches included. It is easy to thread and the top load bobbin works perfectly. Only downside is that you cannot change out the feet…but what do you want for the price. Otherwise I would definitely recommend.

My First sewing machine
This was my first sewing machine purchase, and while my family already owned one, I decided to get my own. The smaller size felt less intimidating, which made it a great starting point for learning to sew.Pros:Beginner-Friendly Speed: The speed controlled by the foot pedal isn’t particularly fast, but I found it helpful for learning. It allows new users to get accustomed to stitching without being overwhelmed. However, compared to larger machines, it does feel slower, and the pedal lacks sensitivity—it really only has one speed.Speed Settings: I haven’t used the manual buttons much, but when I tried switching to the higher speed setting, I noticed it stitches faster than fully pressing the foot pedal. This could be helpful for those who prefer manual speed control.Light: The small built-in light is brighter when running on battery power than when plugged into an outlet. While this isn’t a huge issue, it does contrast with the machine's performance, as it struggles to stitch when running on battery power.Convenient Thread Cutter: The thread cutter on the side is very handy. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss it until I used another machine without one and had to keep reaching for scissors!Bobbin Placement: The bobbin is easy to remove and install, which simplifies the process when you need to change it.Cons:Battery Operation: While it does run on batteries, the machine stops stitching after less than a minute, even though the batteries aren’t dead (the light stays on). This makes battery use unreliable for any real project.Handling Thick Fabric: When sewing thicker layers, like in quilting, the machine struggles. It often pauses, and the needle bends when dealing with thick seams. I’m not sure if this is a hardware issue or user error, but it makes me nervous when working on those layers.Speed Control Sensitivity: The foot pedal lacks sensitivity, and there isn’t much control over speed—it’s more of an on-off situation rather than a gradual increase or decrease.Overall:While this machine isn’t ideal for someone who sews a lot or works with heavy fabrics, it’s a great starter machine. The slower speed and ease of use make it perfect for learning sewing techniques and experimenting at a comfortable pace. If you’re new to sewing and want a machine to help you get started, this is a solid choice. For more advanced work, especially with thicker fabrics, you might want to consider upgrading.

Perfect little sewing machine
This is a perfect sewing machine for beginners, I just needed it to do small projects, it came completely ready to go, you did not have to thread the machine it was already done for you, all you have to do is plug it in and sew! Great instructions on how to change the thread and bobbin also, even on the machine it has arrows and directions on where to run the thread when you change spools! Small enough to put in a closet when not in use, I just put it on my vanity when I used it and it worked perfectly.

Usable
This is a little bit lighter unit than I was expecting it to be, but then I didn’t want it to be lightweight. It will do well for me going places to use a sewing machine. It is not as heavy duty as I thought, but it will do the job I need to do thank you.

Very easy to use
It's a very easy sewing machine to run.

You get what you pay for. The fact that it can run on 4 AA batteries tell you alot.
What I wanted wanted a straight and zig-zag stitch machine. That was not offered. I do not need a great machine. I also did not want to pay all that much, due to my little need. Thus I bought this unit. At first, there was adjustments needed like string tention and pulling the fabric tight. Then the machine jammed about ever 8". Over time I learned a few tricks to help it along. Like using that fabric mending tape first, then sewing it all together. Truly this machine is a toy. But it does work, just not very well. So don't expect much and you will not be disapointed.
