5952 VHB Tape: 2.5cm . x 15 ft. (Black)

I purchased this VHB tape for several projects around the house, and it has performed exactly as expected. The bond is incredibly strong once it has had time to fully cure, and it has worked well on a variety of surfaces. One thing I've learned is that surface preparation makes a huge difference. Cleaning the surface thoroughly before application and giving the tape enough time to cure results in a much stronger bond. After installation, I left it undisturbed for a few days, and it held securely. I've used this tape to replace weaker adhesive pads on other products, and the difference was noticeable. Once cured, it creates a very solid attachment without the need for screws or drilling in many situations. The only downside is that removal can be difficult because the bond is so strong. If you think you may need to reposition something later, make sure you have it exactly where you want it before applying the tape. Overall, this is a high-quality adhesive tape that delivers professional-level holding power. I would definitely purchase it again for future projects.

Super strong adhesive for a great price. It holds a lot of weight for how lightweight it is.

Bought this product to use for carplay camera not staying on dash board with it's original adhesive and also tried gorilla double sided tape. This tape has not healed up in over a month even in extreme heat. I am very happy with this tape and would recommend again.

This is indeed real 3M brand, not some knockoff. I use this for an under water application and it does exactly what its supposed to. Takes a couple days for the chemical reaction to create the full bond but after that, its a very reliable solution. I have a weed cutting blade attached to my trolling motor housings. It spends hours at a time under water and deals with the vacuum pressure of the propeller and stays put.

Seems like it may be strong enough for most small (dry) situations. Not sure it can carry much weight. The main issue was how difficult it is to get the backing off. Very frustrating. I even tried all the “tricks” I found online. Alien tape backing is so easy to remove.

If you need mounting tape for something get this one, don't waste your time with the others. 3M makes a quality product. You are going to pay for it.....but you'll only do the job once.

If you want something to stick and never fall get this tape. I probably wouldn’t use it on the walls your paint will probably come off with it. Don’t over think it. It’s good tape. Great value

Used this along with wider tape to attach my truck bed rail caps. Worked great! Make sure you use real 3M tape. Completely cures in 72hrs. My rails are not going anywhere! This tape really sticks. Warning, don't press down hard until you place your item or you won’t be able to reposition
