Creative Converting 727965 Plastic Banquet Table Cover, All Over Print, Gridiron Action, Green/Brown, One Size

Useful for railway modelling

In the past, I'd purchased a nice quality plastic tablecloth with a grass texture print, the kind with stitched edges, slight cross-hate texture, and a light brushed backing, a kind of mid-weight but still inexpensive, semi-disposable tablecloth. I was looking for the same item and from the photo this looked close. While it will serve the current purpose (grassy effect for candy buffet during a Willy Wonka party for 8-year-olds) it's not the quality I was hoping to match, though probably about what you should expect at this low price point.A few things it would be helpful to know:• This is a very thin plastic, about the same quality as a dollar store plastic tablecloth. You are paying the extra few $ for the grass imaging.• That said, eve though it's super thin, the print is vividly printed and dense enough so there is no show-through.• There is a VERY noticeable yellow line running the width of the tablecloth every two feet or so, essentially wherever the core pattern repeats. For any event where you'd want a more polished look, this would be a deal breaker. Possibly not an issue for a Super Bowl party or kids' event.• The grass is a nice, bright green with lots of texture but the grass strands are very tiny in the print – if you just want a grassy "feeling" - fine. If using as a prop for a small-scale model or trying for an artificial turf look or putting green effect – terrific. If you want it to look like actual leafy grass, though, it's not realistic.• There's a noticeable plastic smell. Not toxic – more like unwrapping a pool raft or bach ball – but again, not ideal for an upscale event, so you'd want to air out for anything like that.

Basic, nice looking table cover. Worked great for a Minecraft themed party. May reuse some of them (that didn't get too dirty) for Easter. I think it'll look cool with Easter egg plates!

It was nice. Just not as wide as I thought it would be.

Exactly what I was expecting. Looked like grass which was what I needed for a minecraft party.
