Works great...functions just like I wanted. Easy one hand operation. Only downside was that when I first installed it on my hose, I couldn't get it to stop leaking. Discovered that it was a washer problem....wouldn't seat properly. After installing my own washer, it works fine...no leaks whatsoever. In my book...no big deal. Stuff happens!

Poor quality, I purchased several of these. They seem like they would be heavy duty and last. This is not the case. First, the screw comes loose that holds the valve on/off lever. Second the plastic on the valve lever comes loose and finally, the valve lever is made of a very weak material and if you drop the hose it breaks. I have had this happen wire EVERY one of these. Look for something with a heavier duty handle.

Good quality hose connector. The threaded end would fit our use (attaching to a water barrel) if it were a little longer.

I bought one for each of my hoses! Theynhave made attachment change a breeze! We are having a drought in Iowa...anf these have made life so kuch easier changing out sprayers and nozzles! I recommend these!UPDATE 8-7-17: They worked great....until the shut off handle broke. We can still make it work, as the rubber paddle fits over the "pot metal" valve actuator. But the pot metal is soft and broke within weeks. I am so VERY disappointed. I won't recommend these any longer and will be looking for a replacement. If the Manufacturer corrects this and sends me a replacement, I will be happy to change my review.

Overall it is a heavy duty connector and I like the design. The washer that was included was wimpy and had to be replaced because it was leaking. Now it is working fine.

I have broken a couple of the cheap plastic valves available from the local outdoor stores, I've also have had couple of the plastic valves leak when brand new, this one is so far working out very well.

This is a great hose shutoff--long enough to hold easily and smooth. But it only lasted a few months and then the handle broke off. Another reviewer had exactly the same problem. Although the body of the shutoff is good cast brass, the handle is a cheaper metal, maybe zinc, and it corrodes and breaks. It would only have cost a few cents more to make that of brass too.

I had a dripping nose faucet out back that I needed to repair. I'!m not Mr. Fixit. I didn't want to get a plumber. This hose connector did the job with the greatest of ease. Simple solution that is a high quality product. If you need a hose connector or need to stop a leaking garden hose faucet, this is the solution for you. I am a very satisfied customer.

I was quite impressed when I first received this garden hose connector. It seemed very well built. The brass body and connector are quite robust. I did have the valve handle break after the 3rd use. Underneath the large rubber on/off valve handle is a very flimsy piece of soft metal that snapped. I now can't use the product anymore - won't turn on or off. Disappointing. I would not recommend buying this product.
