Swagman XTC2 Fat Bike Wheel Tray

With a 35lb limit on these.. they're not extremely useful for most fat bikes. Seeing as how a somewhat mid-range fat bike can tip the scales at 35, you're going to need to be running a small frame, or lighter high end fat bike to use this within it's tolerances. I've run my 35lb and some change bike on it with no issues... but I'm not super comfortable with it. The XTC2 weight limit is 70lb... and I'm working on maxing that out to test, unfortunate to have such a low weight limit but still offer fat bike adapters. (perhaps the XTC4 has a better weight limit and these would be more useful)

I have 5" tires and these work perfect on a rack that is not made by Swagman. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the rubber straps to tie the wheels down. They work, but long term like anything rubber they are going to deteriorate in the sun. I take mine off and store them in the car when not in use. I think Velcro straps would last longer.

These work great. However, after purchase I found out that my rack would not handle the weight I would be putting on it with fat-tire ebikes. Had to return but would recommend these for your fat-tire regular bicycle.

Sticker on item states “Not to exceed 35lbs per bike.” These are light weight wheel holders and I could not find a weight limit in the item descriptionbefore purchase. I would think a 4” wheel holder would be designed for a heavier bike. Makes me a little nervous to use. Probably not worth the riskfor a +++$1000 bike

These are the perfect add-on if you have a fat bike. The 4" tires on my BearTrax are now cradled nice and safe in the holder, instead of on top of it like with the standard width wheel holders that came with my rack. Love how easy they to swap out to. Great product.

Hauling my fat-tired Ebike all over Michigan with this carrier and the optional fat bike wheel troughs. It performs flawlessly. Could make latch on top hook a little easier to press but no complaints really

Received incorrect item from third pary shipper, not swagman or Amazon fault.That said these racks work great for my Fatbike. Even with the error I'll use them to the fullest. Fits my 4.8" Bud up front without issue.You can see in pictures I have one mounted upside down at I received two of the same hoop. They should be a matched front rear set. Still they do the job fine.

Used them to carry Mongoose 2 fat bikes 1000mi to FL on the back of and RV without a problem. The tires are 4+ inches wide and the bikes are heavy - close to 50 lbs. each. No problems at all.Also, it fits the MaxxHaul carrier with not problem.

These fat tire wheel racks work perfectly on my "Sportrack" bicycle rack. They hold my fat tire bike securely. I had to remove one half of the plastic inserts to get them on the rack. The rubber straps hold tight, but I hope they don't dry out and break. I would have preferred hook and loop straps like on my other wheel racks.

Well made but do not fit on a SportRack bike rack. The hole that fits over the horizontal bar a bit too small and won’t fit without modifying the plastic sleeve. I returned them and found another solution. If you want fatbike trays for a SportRack this isn’t the product for you.

I can’t say anything negative about these carriers, especially when I was considering buying a $1000 unit to replace the Swagman 2 bike carrier that I’ve used for 10 years. My e-bike is 60 pounds with the battery attached, and these carriers are perfect. No adjustments had to be made to the fittings.
