Great Mic
Pastor wanted an over the ear microphone so he can have his hands free. We bought this microphone, and he used it last weekend. It was comfortable to wear and sounded really great. No dropouts and he really like it.

I'm purchasing this microphone for the second time. It has great performancePros:As a lecture microphone, it offers exceptional sound quality and performance compared to similar products from other companies. The audio is clear and crisp. The package includes extra foam covers and spare clips for added convenience. After searching for alternatives over several years, I couldn't find a suitable replacement. Ultimately, I chose to repurchase this microphone, which remains my favorite. I will continue to rely on it for similar situations in the future.Cons:This professional-grade lecture microphone is relatively expensive compared to products with a similar appearance. Additionally, the cable durability is weaker than expected, sometimes leading to internal wire breaks over extended use. The area near the ear where the cable bends is particularly prone to damage.Overall:This microphone delivers outstanding quality and unmatched performance, making it hard to replace with other brands' products. However, its high price and potential cable breakage at bend points are factors that require caution.

Great sound and quality
I had head mics for 12 years and one thing I didn’t like about the former mic was the sound quality a bit lacking. But this one right here sound just as good as hand held mic. Wish I knew about this many years ago. It would have been good for those who had to listen to me.

A quality product
This microphone performs well, as expected. As with most things, you get what you pay for.It took me a while to figure out how to keep the mic positioned properly the first time I used it. Once I figured out how to tighten the earset around my ear and use the clip on my collar to stabilize the cord, it worked fine. One challenge with the device is taking a drink of water while wearing it. A water bottle with a small opening would work better than my stainless water container. Others might not see this as a problem but I drink water frequently including during presentation of seminars. This mic definitely picks up better than a lapel mic. It is being used in our church and, unfortunately, other speakers are not comfortable using it. They prefer a lapel mic which provides inferior sound.

Great Sound; Brittle Construction; Dead in 2 Months
This was a great product for 2 months. The rigid portion around the ear snapped at the apex of the ear which separated the thing wire. It's completely dead. Not sure yet if Shure will replace. Very disappointing. I used it about 8 hours per week. So, if you use it, be very very very careful about reshaping the over-the-ear articulatable wire.
