I purchased this Light Socket Extender bc the ceiling fan unit in my study only had one bulb and wasn’t that bright. So I removed the glass dome and installed the socket extender. The plan worked! Now I don’t have to work during an indoor eclipse.The review wants to know what I think of the motion detect option… I haven’t seen any such thing? So don’t expect that to be an option with this model.

Easy installation, easy to bend to your liking. I installed it outdoors to replace a rusty light socket adapter. I have no idea about the longevity but it seems sturdy
