Definitely worth it!
My main concern was the top rolling down and I even chatted with someone on the Spanx website who said that if you are in between sizes then sizing up will help prevent rolling. Even though I am losing weight, I went ahead and got the larger size. Trying it on and walking around my house I was disappointed at first because it immediately started rolling down. Loved it everywhere else so I decided to wear to work the next day with the straps to hold the top in place (pro tip: don’t try to figure out the straps when you are already running late! Took me a good five minutes searching for the second strap I swear I just had before I realized they were hooked together). Not sure if it just needed a stretching from the initial try on or if the straps did anything, but I had almost no rolling of the band wearing these for over 10 hours! I didn’t have that tummy sauna/sausage casing feeling like with cheaper brands. I am a little wary of using the opening - I got the nude color and they are almost see-through. One thing that is nice about the shorts style shapewear is that your rear end is covered in a dress - it looks like they mean for you to wear these without underwear but with the transparency and the big hole, I felt it was too risky.I was hesitant to buy these because of the expense, but then I realized that I had 3 $20 ones to return that just didn’t work for me despite rave reviews. I learned a lesson in buying quality here.I think the style is good for those with long torsos - they went all the way up without any issue and I’m normally fighting the highwaisted styles to get them in place. For reference, I’m 5’9” 180lbs size 12/14, pear shaped and I bought large.

Tummy control
I'm 5'3 and around 160-165lbs. When I first got this product, I thought I was crazy for buying medium, cause it looked tiny. However, I read a review from someone similar to my weight and height that said not to give up and that it would fit. I struggled a bit, but I got it on and it definitely made a huge difference for the dress I had to wear. The only thing is that is does roll down a bit, so you might get a little back muffin top, but it kinda smooths out when you put a bra over it. The tummy control really makes up for the rolling down situation.

Ripped after two wears
Always loved Spanx and found them to be worth the money. But not anymore. I recently bought this pair from Amazon and a pair of their Thinstincts from Nordstrom. While both were very comfortable, they both ripped. This one after two wears and the other after one. Also, with the Oncore, the legs roll up after an hour or so of walking around. Would not recommend.

Not worth the cost
I have used other shapewear in the past, but this was my first Spanx purchase & I had high hopes. I liked the fabric. It is smoother & softer than most other shapewear. The waist band also stayed up where it was supposed to without adjustment. It's tight to get into at first, but once in place, it was very comfortable. My one complaint, and it's no small complaint since this was a major reason for buying shorts, is that the legs rolled up constantly. Unless I was standing still, the legs needed to be adjusting. Sitting, walking, dancing, climbing stairs all lead to uncomfortable & unflattering rolling.

Work wonders, once you get them on!
I purchased these in two sizes, small and medium, in addition to S and M of a different style, in hopes that one would work for me. Overall, these are a great product that holds in what you need them to, once you are finally able to squeeze them over your hips and up your sausage link legs. It was ROUGH getting them on the first time; it took me about ten minutes (including doing a bridge on the floor and squeezing the top part over my hips). I am 5'4 and 145 lbs, thought I would be just fine in the medium. At first I thought I wasn't going to get them on but I was really committed to the cause!Once they were on, they were fantastic, surprisingly comfortable, legs didn't roll up and top didn't roll down. There is a specially made hole in the crotch for bathroom purposes, I tried it but found it to be potentially dangerous/messy.Final opinion- Great product, glad I got it! Just be ready for the fight to put them on.

LOVE LOVE LOVE | Plus size women BUY THESE!!!! 🥰 💋
Nothing beats the Spanx brand from my experience with so many other copy-cats. I really would be an ambassador for this brand (HIRE ME lol), nothing else on the market comes close! For the curvy women, a size 16+, these are a must MUST have! These are perfect for under a knee-length dress/biker shorts/leggings, and they are my go-to shapewear. I've tired Yummie, everything at Kohls and Macys, Hookedup Shapewear, everything at Lane Bryant/Torrid, and nothing has beat Spanx (not even the X made by Spanx line). I know the price is a little steep but it's worth the investment. You will be smoothed out, as this is one of the higher compression garments they have for plus size women, and you will instantly boost your confidence in something form hugging especially. I wouldn't think about it, I would get them. If I styled ANYONE, it would start with a pair of these Spanx before anything else.If you are plus size and wondering your size, go to the Spanx website, click on the size chart for plus sizes to learn your accurate size. Spanx size chart is accurate and you do not need to go up or down a size if you measure yourself properly. I hope this helps, LOVE YOU SPANX!!!!!

Shimmy it up!
When I pulled this out of the packaging, I laughed and put it back in and prepared to send it back. BUT, I decided to check reviews and I’m glad I did. It took some energy to get them up to the tops of my legs and it was not a pretty sight trying to shimmy them up over my tummy BUT once I did, they felt comfortable and stayed put. There’s no rubber lining at the top to keep it in place but it didnt move much. I am 165lb and purchased a medium. It was worth the money!
