Fox Run Mortar and Pestle, Cast Iron, Black

I love this set! It IS hefty and works great! And like some reviews said it can be scratchy on a counter. I use a small silicone mat under it and problem solved.On the matter of rusting. It is CAST IRON. Anything made of cast iron will rust unless retreated before use.Should the manufacturer state this on packaging..probably.But I seasoned this little set and washed just like I would treat my cast iron frying pans and have had no problem with rust.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sturdy and cute mortar and pestle.

This set is lovely! It's nice a thick cast iron, the handle is easy to hold on to and the pour spout is my favorite feature! It's hard to find them with a spout. It makes it much easier to fill MOJO bags and tea jars this way. Nice item!

Realmente corresponde à descrição. Produto sólido, bem feito, bastante útil e até decorativo. Substitui perfeitamente o de mármore que tenho, pois tem a boca até um pouco maior, tem o "funil" para escorrer molhos e não lasca (já mastigamos cacos de mármore nos molhos, pois soltavam do pilão).Aliás, o único "senão", até agora, é que, para minha pegada, o pilão poderia ser mais longo; mas é questão de tamanho de mão e costume.
