Love these Jars, how they look and how they keep my cookies, cereal and sugar fresh!

I do like these jars! However they are not “air tight” as advertised. When I think air tight I think of the OXO container that my brown sugar is in. Yes the lids are different but it’s fine with me gives it a unique look. I wanted something to help with organizing and being able to see what I have on hand until my kitchen remodel happens. These are perfect for now and I’m sure will be perfect for after as well! I would recommend however if looking for air tight these are not exactly that. I have a couple that feel as though they are a little more “air tight” then others but for me it’s not a problem because those items don’t last long in there and get used often. They do come with a grey silicone bottom to help with “slippage”. I seen a review about these being slippery but the silicone bottom if used will prevent this.

I think the air tightening can be better but over all it’s great. I wouldn’t leave things in them longer then 1/2 month of use but as long it’s use by then the freshness of the item should be good. I placed pretzels in and after 2/3 months it wasn’t that fresh so who knows it might have been a flaw in the one jar among the others just my experience
