I love that I can leave these in my houseplants 24/7 and easily see when they need watering. I used to water all of my plants on the same schedule when, of course, they didn't use water at the same rate. Now I can avoid over/under watering and my plants are much happier, and I am more confident in my green thumb (still evolving).

We kept overwatering our hanging baskets, and now we know when they are in need of water and they look awesome! Great product!

I don’t have a “green thumb” and was hoping these would help lol!This product tells you when the plant needs watered and that’s the main reason I purchased.But I will say, it takes a long time for it to register if you’ve “watered too much”. It also says that depending where the blue is, it means root rot or completely dry… but it takes 20 ish minutes for the blue to accurately tell you the amount of water. So I feel like this part of the device isn’t something people should rely on. I would tell people to only purchase this if they need something for easy knowing to water the plant, not to help with preventing root rot.I do like the product for being able to just look at my plants and seeing if it needs water or not… I just think these might be a tad expensive for just that feature. But overall, they do what I needed them to do.

Finally I can keep my plants alive, I used to over water and they give me a chance to know when my plant is thirsty

Once the plant is watered the pen turns blue and when the soil is running dry it turns white. Easy to use.

After about 6 months, the internal wick that carries moisture to the top "window" has completely distintegrated making them completely useless.

Some of the sticks didn’t change color at all and others stayed blue even though the soil was super dry

I've always had problems identifying when my plants need water, and kept over-watering them.These little meters solved this issue for me once and for allA single meter per pot works great, depending on the size of the pot.For bigger pots, or multi-plant ones, I put more than 1 to measure specifically where the plants' roots are.I've been using this for about 6 months now, and they're still showing accurate moisture levels.

Die Gießanzeiger erfüllen ihren Zweck. Ich habe die großen gekauft und benutze sie mit der Pflanzenerde (kein Granulat).Die Pflanzen in meinem Haus haben alle unterschiedlichen Wasserbedarf. Dazu kommt, dass dieser sich auch je nach Jahreszeit und Wetter ändert. Ich war es satt die Pflanzen mal zu überwässern, mal auszutrocknen.Nach einem Test mit 5 ausgewählten Pflanzen bin ich von den einfachen aber gut funktionierenden Anzeigern begeistert. Jetzt ist jede Pflanze mit so einem Gießanzeiger ausgestattet, und ich prüfe sie einfach jeden Tag visuell und gieße die weissen oder die hellblauen.5 Sterne. Meine Pflanzen sind auch dankbar.
