RED MOOSEMink Oil Paste - Waterproof Leather Shoe Protector and Boot Repair

My husband wanted this product for his boots. His grandfather always used this to keep his boots dry. Great product!

I use this oil on my L.L. Bean boots, and it worked very well. The leather is softer and more water resistant. For $1-2 more than the made-in-China options, this one is made in the USA.

This product was easy to apply. Just follow the directions on the can, easy to put on, let it sit and them rub off excess. It did darken the leather a little, but I like the color.

Smooth

I put it on my boots and the leather on the Harley before a 200 mile trip. It went on really smooth and a little goes a long way. It looks great and isn't greasy. On my way back I must have gone through ten storms. Get drenched, dry out. Drenched, dry out. Usually my seat gets wet and stayed wet for days. This time the water just rolled off. Boots too. This Mink Oil is absolutely the Best I have ever used. All my leather will now be treated with Red Moose Exclusively.

Bought to soften a holster,did a great job. Have used it before for several leather objects.

If you found this product you are here for a reason. This container is an amazing leather waterproofer. I have used it on my boots and it jas been amazing. They relaxed my boots so they were broken in faster, huge plus for my aching feet. This paste waterproofed my boots so well wasling in pouring rain in New York my feet stayed totally dry and I could watch the water roll off my boots easily. This did make my off white boots darker but I prefer then darker anyway so if you have lighter leather and don't want a deeper color maybe this oil is not for you
