NalgeneTritan 20oz MultiDrink BPA-Free Water Bottle, Blue

The straw didn’t work and I thought there were teeth marks on the straw. My missus convinced me I was being paranoid about the teeth marks. They sent me a replacement quickly. However, the replacement came with a plastic packaging around the bottle which the first one didn’t. Upon inspection I noticed grime around the lid on some edging. The new bottle is fab but miffed about having my lips around some dirty, used bottle.

That's a great bottle - I use it when doing both indoor and outdoor rock climbing. I've been using such a bottle for a couple of years and just bought another one for my wife. It is pretty much indestructible - both are made in USA, build quality is decent thus my bottle survived multiple falls/hits against a rock etc.. Great design as well, very handy that you do not need to remove the cap to drink every time, nozzle works just fine.In regards of leakage - my old bottle started to leak slightly at some point. Not a huge issue though, might have been caused by a fall, I am not sure. The new one does not leak at all.Overall - great product of great design.

Rubbish. Printing on the outside comes off pretty quickly. Brittle plastic on the lid breaks easily when dropped from a small height. Nozzle leaks if the water inside is too cold (dunno why, just happens). The mini-cap (one attached to the main cap with black strap) is very finnickity, and if not screwed really tight, the bottle will just leak everywhere.Cheap tat, basically. Nalgene have a reputation for virtually indestructible, reliable products, which is why I got this. Will not be buying from them again.

Oh my! I normally rate Nalgene products very highly, but I managed to break the tiny bit of plastic securing the spout within 5 seconds of opening the box.

Great bottle, I've used it for hiking, everyday use and in the Atacama desert in Peru and it is still going strong! The nosle which you drink out of is great for walking as you don't have to stop or tip your head back. The bottle itself has held up well despite taking quite a beating from all the places it's been taken!With other bottles I've owned after a while the water tastes tainted and plasticy but this bottle doesn't do that.Overall a great bottle, robust and handy. 10/10 would recommend!
