Waited a while for this to turn up, when it did was disappointed with the overall design.The lid does zip all the way around so opening it up and folding back doesn't work.The straps are too long and too loose.It's top heavy and the sides are not supportive enough, had a bottle fall out and smash and the carrier just listing off to the side.There are probably hundreds of better rear pannier bags. Seems a simple design to get right not sure what happned.

I liked the price of this trunk bag. As some have noted it is a little soft but doesn’t exactly flatten when it’s empty it’s just a bit less rigid than some of the higher end bags. The inner insulated liner gives it an acceptable stiffness. I have put bottles of water in it with some ice packs and it keeps cold all day. One thing I don’t like is it has only 2 straps. I run the straps under the rack and come up the other side and flip the Velcro over to fasten onto itself. The problem is the Velcro catches underneath the rack usually in the wrong place which prevents me from pulling the strap tight to the rack -so there is a bit of play when it is mounted. Mostly the rack will stay in play but on occasion the bag has fallen sideways as if about to slide off the rack. The other problem with the design is that it takes a bit of effort to remove the bag; to loosen the straps you have to weave your fingers under the rack and try to loosen the Velcro strap an inch at a time. Depending on how much space between the rack and the wheels or fenders it can be kind of tight and awkward to manipulate and loosen the straps for removal. But I was in a hurry to get a bag and this was delivered promptly and for the price I can’t complain too much. The picture shown is when the bag is empty.

Mounts to the bike rack easily. Works.well to keep drinks/snacks cool on a ride. Works well if you freeze a water bottle and stick in with your beverages. side benefit is you have cold water later. it's basic reflective insulation. will keep things cool for a few hours on a hot day.
