No problems with the cable, good for the money and very long

Using this 20ft cable in conjunction with a “ CJX DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.4 Repeater Signal Booster DP Amplifier” purchased for $9.99 from Amazon. Didn't even bother testing to see if using the 20ft cable directly to monitor worked or not since I read WAY to many inconsistent reviews for DP cables 20ft or longer. My setup is using an ASUS RTX 3070 GPU with an AOC 31.5” curved 2K 155hz monitor and it works flawlessly! No flickering or abnormalities noticed during COD MW2 while using 1440p @ 155hz refresh rate. Will update review if cable fails prematurely but for now, 5 stars for 20ft version of cable!!!

Ordered one of these to replace a shorter cable I received with a new monitor. The monitor is 1440p/165 hz. This cable immediately forced the monitor to 60hz. Eliminating all other refresh rates from the config selection. I put the shorter cable back in and was able to set back to 165hz. Ordered a 10ft. Cable Matters cable and it worked flawlessly. The cable was 10ft with red braiding and did have 8k/D1.4 marked on the cable ends, but I'm thinking it was only a DP1.2 cable, or was faulty. The picture did come through flawlessly at 60hz though and that seems to reduce the possibility of a defective cable.UPDATE: The manufacturer saw my post and sent me another cable. The replacement worked fine all the way to 2k/165. The markings and everything were the same, so I can only imagine it was just a faulty cable. I have increased this to 4 star for the support the manufacturer provided. I believe they went above and beyond and should be rewarded. Unfortunately, I can't give it a 5 as it was still very inconvenient in the first place. At this point though, I can recommend both the cable and the manufacturer.

I like the fact that this an extreme sturdy cable. Very hard to twist. Which I assume will last for many years. I also like the fact that there is no locking mechanism in this display port which is good for me because my pc and monitor have tight space to put my fingers through the lock and unlock. Simple pull and push type of thing like an hdmi cable. DP 1.4 I get 120hz on 4k resolution on my monitor. Very fast frames. It can go up to 144 hz but my monitor would need two of these cables. But I'm happy with 120 hz. It's just as easy as plug and play. The monitor will automatically detect best hz it will use based on the cable. Hdr supported also

Using both of these to feed dual 2k 165hz monitors and everything is great. They are extremely durable with the braiding. They are pretty stiff and might be hard to manage around some bends, but that is to be expected.Overall would definitely buy again in the future if needed!

I returned it but, The product appeared to be of good quality. The packaging was two cables stuffed into a plastic ziplock bag that was only big enough for one cable and was not closed. On cable was hanging halfway out.

Great quality and look really cool too.
