A Tast of Thai Peanut Sauce Mix, 3.5 Oz Pack -- 6 Per Case. - PACK OF 2

If you're reading this, you love Thai peanut sauce - me too! But...I want the chicken or tofu and vegetables I prefer in the dish, and I stray between wide rice noodles and egg noodles, depending on my mood (always keeping both in stock!) I always add a can of coconut cream (not milk) to this, and some dried red chili peppers, which I remove before serving. Without the chili peppers, this is NOT spicy AT ALL, so spice to taste or not. I've made elaborate peanut sauces from cookbooks requiring umpteen spices, some of which I'd have to shop for, and the result was never much better than this. Therefore, I buy this in bulk!

I love this mix and local grocery stopped carrying it. I use it as a base for a dressing for a Thai chicken salad. I just add 2 tbsp of Apple cider vinegar to make it a dressing after cooled. My version of a Thai chicken salad I once had at a Hudson's Grill in Lancaster California has romaine lettuce, cold linguini, chopped celantro, green onions and diced cold chicken breast. Dressing on top & sprinkle with a little chopped peanuts. Yum!

This is going to last me a VERY long time! I use just one package each time. I mixed1/2 cup 2% regular milk (not coconut milk), microwaved for 2 minutes, stirred, microwaved another minute then took it out and stirred in a tablespoon of natural peanut butter to soothe the hot spices a bit. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!!!!

This was about what I expected. I wasn't sure if it would be a peanut curry mix or just a sauce. It does have a very slight spiciness to it but, it's very mild. I made it using some shrimp, rice noodles and vegetables... baby bamboo, zucchini, broccoli and carrots. It turned out pretty good. This comes with 6 packs and two envelopes in each pack but, you use both envelopes per batch (with one can of coconut milk). I used up two packs making the shrimp. Next, I'll try it with chicken.

This is my favorite peanut sauce mix and I haven't been able to find it in a store near me in 10+ years. I was so excited when I found it on here. The last pack I bought there was only 3 left and there were no other listings so I feared they stopped making it and what I had was the last of it. I lost everything in a fire and was devastated about losing the sauce mix (it's funny the things that you find you care about versus what you think you'd care about). I did a search and was over the moon that it is still in production and available here on amazon! I can't wait to make my favorite dish with this!

I love this Thai Peanut sauce mix. You'll need a can of coconut milk and to cook this briefly buts its worth the hassle of having to mix and cook a few minutes till it comes to a boil ....all done in 10 minutes time! Excellent flavor!

I have been purchasing this for over 10 years. This is more of a coconut peanut sauce. Very mild. If you like more of a peanut flavor, purchase something else or add peanut butter. Very easy to make. We make a bigger batch and portion it out in individual 2oz portion cups and freeze. Just microwave to reheat per use. No waste.

I’ve used this peanut sauce for years and it’s delicious. My local grocery store Fred Meyers stopped carrying it so I’m thankful that I can get it from amazon. Buying the box of 6 is not a problem for me because it keeps forever and will get used. I use it with fish, chicken and vegetables. I’m sure there are probably lots of other uses for it too. It’s not too spicy and not too vinegary like some other brands in the bottles.
