Excellent Honing Rod
Saw this on YouTube recommended by several chefs and thought I’d try it.Your knives have to be pre sharpened for this to work but the easy to use angled head makes sure you’re honing at the right angle. My knives have remained really sharp. Delighted with this purchase.

Works Great!
Saw this on a YouTube video from a Boston cooking teacher who swears by it for her clients learning to hone, and I agree! I’ve struggled with knife angle sfor years on steels (and I’ve worked as a professional cook), but these guides have made that all past history. It’s a no-brainer to follow the guides and get a good consistent edge, And since the ceramic is so hard, it only takes 3-5 strokes per side.Quality is good—guides slide on and off with ease, and the rod cleans well with Comet. Highly recommend if honing rods intimidate you too!

Price & Usability
They teach you how to keep your knives sharp by straightening the bevel or "folding back the burr" at the correct angle. I have some knives that need to be honed at 20 degrees and others at 15 degrees. This teaches me the correct angle. The Ceramic rod seems to do a better job than steel but you have to treat it with care.

Great ceramic honing w angle guides
I'm just a occasional home cook - appreciate the guides to quickly get the correct angle to hone. Using 15°.Only wish they made it a bit longer since w the guide you lose a good inch or 2, also could have a metal core so I can pop it onto my magnetic knife wall rack

It hones blades to a perfect edge
My steel honing rod wasn’t getting the kitchen knives as sharp as I wanted. I did some research and chose this Wedgek ceramic rod. Night and day: the knives are like razor blades that get the thinnest tomato slices ever— and we all know that tomatoes are a better test than slicing paper.
