I got these as a gift, and I’ve wanted watercolor pencils for a while. I finally got them, and these are comparable to prismacolors in my opinion. I’m not an artist, but I do like to color in different mediums. These took a point easily, are vivid, and are well pigmented. I’ve not come across a pencil that has broken leads yet. Colors smoothly on all types of paper.

Love these pastels. I’m designing several coloring books and have been ordering several different types of pencils from them and all have been great to work with.

Love how the colors lay down, colors are what I expected, only complain I have is the lettering, wish they change it to white, it’s hard to read them with glare of the light.

The media could not be loaded. Pleasingly surprised by the ease of using these. Great quality! Glide across the paper with little effort. Easy to sharpen. Soft enough to use, but not too soft. Very little crumbling. Wonderful product so happy with it! ❤️

These are excellent for Smooth blending, intense color watercolor pencils. I have a small set of Derwents and these compare very well with them. Blending from dark to light is easy, both wet and dry. They do not make ridges between the edges. This is an excellent value, too. I purchased the 72 count selection, which offers a beautiful range of colors. I coupled them with a lovely pencil holder, which allows easier access to each one. These will be a joy to use in my card making.

Bought these for a fellow artist looking to try a new medium. He said he was immediately impressed and had a lot of fun playing around with them. Kalour are a great cheap alternative to professional grade pencils and though they'll never go toe to toe with those brands, these are well worth the investment to buy for students, beginners or hobbyists looking to diversify their art mediums.
