The best dog whistle style and this one is the best quality!
This is the best dog whistle I have ever used. I have tried several others ranging in price from $5 to $25. This is the only one that will go almost completely silent and the locking nut actually stays locked. Also, I got a free ebook in a thank you email from the company that was very informative. I have used a silent whistle to train my Vizsla starting at age 3 months. She is now 3 1/2 years and I have used these whistles with great confidence. I hike 3 days a week 5 to 10 miles and let off leash and she always comes when I whistle. And I don't bother other hikers screaming for her or using a loud whistle.

Didn't get my pup's attention.
I got this to stop my dogs from barking. Didn't work. I went through all the ranges of pitch and only if it was quiet and I was close to them did it do anything. Not enough to snap them out of barking.It's totally audible, I know you can hear them a bit but this was more volume than I expected.Unfortunately I have to return the item. I was excited to try something new and not have to snap my fingers everytime.Oh well, back to the drawing board.

No impressed. It is some what.... effective. Maybe spending a little extra for a product like this is needed. I liked the packaging and the physical whistle its self, but my dogs are NOT completely adjusted to it. "Yet"

Seems like a nice whistle
I bought it to try to curb a neighbor dog's barking, but I think we live too far from them ((400 ft. + away). The first several times it got their attention, but because they couldn't really hear my 'stop" command, it wasn't effective. I do think it would probably be good for personal use with your own dog.
