I bought this as a replacement for a similar Alvarez guitar. It is a beautiful instrument and sounds amazing!. It sounds almost like a steel string, but has the warm touch of a classical guitar. I love and would recommend this to anyone.

I got what I expected and much more.
I've been playing guitar for about 30 years now. I even worked at Guitar Center for several years when I was younger. The Teton Classical is top notch. The onboard tuner is a real help for those of us who still need one. The electronic sound is rich and full if you tweek the preamp right. The acoustic sound is warm and full with enough top end clarity and articulation to bring out the intricacies of your playing.While lightly strumming with a pick near the 12th fret, it is almost harp sounding.I am very impressed with this guitar regardless of its affordable price.
