I purchased this last year on sale on black Friday and was a little worried it would be a bad unit on installation (almost 1 year later). Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised that it worked flawlessly. I am an engineer and had little trouble setting the unit up. I can tell the instructions are translated (but understandable). I was able to install per manual except where it required no dip in the steam line on the way to the shower. I needed to run it through the ceiling and accept that I will have water buildup near the generator. I installed union's for quick disassembly to drain and clean that part of the line.The bathroom is 5x6 with a 9 foot ceiling. I bought a 12 Kw unit to match the space requirements. It does take about 7 min from startup to steam, but its well worth the wait. So far it's a 5 out of 5.1 year out: flawless performance for over 100 cycles. Excellent quality.

I was remodeling my garage into an ADU and bought this because I had always wanted a steam shower. I bought this in March thinking I could have it installed right away only to be told by my city I needed new plans for a fire sprinkler system that took 2 months to draw up and another month before the fire department approved it.When it was finally installed in late November, we discovered that the generator would not power on so I contacted the seller to see what could be done and they gave me a list of things I needed to fix in my unit. I had a plumber and electrician come to check that everything was in order and both said everything was fine with the ADU but the generator itself was not powering on and was probably defective.I contacted the seller and told them this only to be given some other method to fix the problem, so I had a DIFFERENT plumber and electrician come to make the necessary changes and they both said the same thing as the last 2: There is nothing wrong with anything in your unit, the generator won't power on and is probably defective. I messaged the seller AGAIN and told them this only to be sent another email on how to change my breaker or power cable etc.Instead of considering the possibility that their product might be defective, they insist it has something to do with the ADU even though I had 2 licensed plumbers and 2 licensed electricians tell me that the generator was the problem at separate times.Do not buy anything from this seller unless you want to spend the next few weeks (maybe months) on a constant back and forth trying to get some kind of resolution.

Works very well. Heats up quickly. Easy to install. You will not be disappointed with this unit. Cost a little more than many others. Worth every penny. Highly recommend

The Steamspa shower generator kit works great! Until it doesn't. For mine that took about 10 months. Our contractor had the kit for 3 months during a remodel. 3 months of sitting in the box + 10 months of use = 13 months, making the 12 month warranty void.

This steam generator looks great and it was a great price with Amazon's 20% coupon! It comes in one big box with smaller boxes inside. One for the steam generator, one for the pan, water filter, and one for all the electronics. Comes with instruction manual and they even gave me some essential oils to use with it!

Awful customer service , will rip you off @ every turn , a plastic speaker cover $45 for a $5 item. Wires for the lights are too short and they know it , extended cable $90. This company is your worst nightmare . Do not buy . Just my opinion.

Love this unit. It was very slightly tricky to wire since the instructions didn't detail the connection of the smaller wire, but all in all this is a great steamer unit. I'm a general contractor and so far I have purchased 2 of these units. It has plenty of power, plenty of steam and certainly doesn't disappoint. If I have another steamer project, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a third.

The instruction does not have much info. My professional electrition and plumber had hard time to install. After install, water goes in but do not generate any heat.Customer service is not good as well. We will keep trying to contact them to solve the problem. I hope I can update my review to a positive one in near future.
