Fish Tank Clip-On Light Mini Aquarium Light with 2 Modes, 360° Adjustable Arm

This is a great little basic light for the side of a nano tank. Nice and bright and the blue option for moonlight is really lovely. Word of caution and the reason why this light has now been relegated to a desk lamp. If you are a dim wit like me and you screw in the wrong direction to remove from the tank, it will crack the glass. It turned out to be an expensive event.My existing tank was second hand and cost £10. Having cracked it and been left in an absolute panic, I had no alternative than to purchase a new tank from the nearest shop at a cost of £50! The morale of this story, lovely light but not safe in the hands of dim wits like me! It would have been cheaper to purchase a more expensive light that simply sat on top of the tank. Just a lapse in concentration, that is all it takes. Not the manufacturers fault.I will never use or purchase anything that screws onto the side of a tank. If this had happened to my 4 foot tank I would have been well and truly out of pocket. Thank goodness for small mercies.

Very bright light on day time mode, nice and dark blue at night when you change the light using the switch. Long power cable, the bendy arm is perfect to get it at the right angle. The screw attachment to fix it to your tank is very good, I have a round tank so I was a bit worried that it might not hold as well as a straight sided tank but I was pleansantly surprised that it caused no issues. I wouldn't tighten it too much though, as it could cause a glass tank to shatter or a plastic one to bend.

Built well and looks great just a shame they is no time, otherwise I'd give it a five stars

Some of the aquarium lights were really expensive and as it was just for a small tank with one goldfish I didn't want to spend a lot. So really pleased with this. Easy to install and great light both the white and blue lights.Highly recommended it.

Ok product but not great for planter tank. I replaced after two month

Needed something that was bright enough to light up all the corners of my tank as the original lights weren’t great. I tried a few others and ended up sending them back, but this is exactly what I wanted! The fact you can bend it into whatever position you want is even better

It might just be my tank, but the way the base is designed makes it difficult for it to sit properly on the side of my tank. The distance in the cut out area down to the screw is too short, and so the screw meets the plastic lip rather than the glass which isn't sturdy enough for it to 'screw' into (picture to explain better). For reference the length of the 'lip' of my tank is exactly 1.5cm, the distance from the cut out to the top of the screw is around 0.8cmIf the feet/grip/things were at all adjustable I'd be able to make it sit better on the side of my tank, for now it's kind of precarious however it is fixable if you are able to saw the plastic sides of the base to increase the distance.HOWEVER, the light is amazing, both settings are bright and it works perfectly to illuminate even through my surface plants. Is it possible that it could even be too good? I think my plants are outgrowing their tank thanks to the light hahaha. I would definitely recommend this but perhaps check how the top of your tank is to see if it will fit correctly.
