Fab pencils, really helped my son with his writing technique. Highly recommend!

We have been suing these Easy Start pencils for a few years now. Our daughter was at just the right age to need to practise cursive writing. These are a claver little pencil, with the indented fingertip portions moulded in all the way to the end of the pencil - so she always remembers to hold the pencil correctly. The indentations are cleverly not painted too, which makes it more comfortable to grasp even if our little ones fingers are getting moist and slippery.They're specifically moulded for either left or right hand use, so you need to ensure you're buying the right one.The pencils are wider than a standard pencil, which we prefer as our daughter finds them better to grasp, the lead is also thicker, tougher and more resilient, preventing breakages - she's dropped them on our stone floors many times, though they're still going strongThis set comprises of everything you need for cursive writing. Importantly, it has the sharpener!! When I first bought a few of these pencils I had no idea that it would only work with a specific sharpener. I have a number of sharpeners at home - wide ones and standard ones. None have sharpened the pencils so far, except  Staedler's steel sharpener - so I purchased a couple, they're quite cheap so I wasn't put off using these fantastic pencils. Thankfully, she'll no longer need to bring her pencils home from school when she needs to sharpen them - as the schools sharpeners and the teacher's electrical one, don't work with this pencil. She's far too young to take a steel sharpener to school just yet. The sharpener in  So unless you have a Staedler sharpener, I recommend you purchase Stabilo's set or their sharpener; as otherwise you'll be hard-pressed trying to find something to sharpen this pencil.4 stars

This is yet another superbly designed product in the Stabilo Easy Start range. I now have 4 products in the range, that I got for my grandson. This is a great solution for small children, to assist with their learning to write properly. He finds it awkward to hold pens and pencils properly, being not quite as dexterous as he might be. This is just as suitable for adults who maybe have Arthritis problems, and find it difficult holding / gripping a conventional pen, or who just like the comfort of using. They really are superb.This is a pencil, eraser, and sharpener set. The pencil, as with other products is easy to grip, and designed just right for maximum comfort. The sharpener is made from soft plastic, once again designed for easy grip and comfort. The quality eraser completes the set. Stabilo is a very well-known, highly respected, and long-established quality brand. I can’t stress enough just how good this range is.The pencil is really good quality, and writes / draws nice and evenly. Even as an adult with no dexterity issues etc; I find it really comfortable hold and use. The sharpener is equally really good quality, and the eraser also.Overall, this is a high-quality product, that’s very well-made, and super value. this is a starter set of the stabilo “easy” series stationery, there are one triangular pencil, one pencil sharpener and one eraser included in the setthe triangular pencil is thick and with ergonomic design, specialized for right hand use, slots on the pencil body provide good rest for right hand fingers and kids could grab the pencil correctly with the help of the slots, however it’s bad for left handed, so my kids couldn’t share this pencil (they are different handedness)the pencil sharpener supports 3 pencil diameters, we used only the 2 bigger one, the smallest one is really thin, probably good for sharpening mechanic pencil core onlybut the pencil tip shape the it produced was too short and fragile, i’m not quite happy with it, i’m more prefer to use my old one for a more traditional pencil tip (see my photo attached), also the pencil sharpener is designed for right-handed use only (hold pencil with right hand for sharpening), it’s a bit uncomfortable and hard to use for left-handedlastly, nothing wrong with the eraser, it works fine, but if it could be bigger, then it will be perfect

This pack contains;An ergonomic triangular graphite pencil, and ergonomic sharpener and a pvc free eraser. This pack is designed for right handed children and it comes in a lovely deep pink/almost purple colour.My daughter is just getting used to writing and using a pencil and this set has been great for her. 5/5 for the colour too as it actually makes her want to write!! The pencil is chunky and has a nice thick lead in it, so any marks on paper with it are very positive. It has finger grips all down it so it encourages her to hold it correctly. The pencil sharpener is quite large, so probably wouldn’t fit in a pencil case very easily, but it is great for home use. This also has finger grip indents on it so it aids use. The rubber is quite small but rubs out pencil marks very cleanly. This is a very expensive set, but in my opinion it is well worth the money as everything works well and helps children with their hold and grip.
