Beautiful, But NOT Ideal for Households with Cats
Despite loving this tree, I had to return it because I caught my cat trying to chew on the branches and gems several times. Fortunately, the tree and wire are very sturdy so no damage was done, but I knew my cat would get into the habit so I decided to return it.What was pleasantly surprising was that the base was far more sturdy and heavy than I expected. The base in the photo looks ordinary, but in reality, it's a solid, heavy chunk of 'lava rock.' The branches were all very adjustable and the conical box was pretty. Great decoration for people who don't have pets that like chewing on things.
