Douwe Egberts Excellent Aroma Whole Bean Coffee 17.6 Oz (Pack of 2)

I only drink bean-to-cup coffee, so the quality of the beans makes all the difference. In my opinion, the flavor and aroma of this coffee are unmatched. The beans are consistently fresh and produce a rich, smooth cup with an exceptional aroma that fills the kitchen. It has become one of my favorite coffees and one that I continue to purchase regularly. If you appreciate freshly ground coffee and want a full-bodied, aromatic blend, this is an outstanding choice and well worth trying. Medium strength makes for the perfect cup every time

Best coffee; low acidity. Aroma wakes me up!

This coffee by far is the best coffee I’ve ever had. We buy this constantly and never buy other brands anymore.

Of all the coffee beans I have purchased, these are by far the best. Whether pour over, French press or in a DIY singe serve, these beans deliver a flavorful, smooth and mellow cup of coffee. Yes, they are a bit expensive but if you love a great cup of coffee like I do, they are worth the money.

Douwe Egbert's coffee has been a favorite of mine for many years, once I discovered it's wonderful, full bodied, never bitter and delightful aroma at the Caesar's properties in Las Vegas. A waitress explained it to me like this. All she needed to do when someone ordered a cup of coffee, she went to the coffee station and pushed a button and out comes a cup of coffee, freshly brewed, by way of the special machine, equipped with a box of coffee syrup and a micro chip inside the machine measures how much syrup and how much water it takes to make the perfect cup of coffee every time. Therefore no coffee is wasted, or left to get old and burned. Unfortunately, this coffee doesn't live up to those praises, funny that these freshly ground beans can't deliver the taste of a syrup!

A coffee not to be missed. Tops in flavor, body and smoothness.

We are typically Dunkin drinkers and we like to grind our beans. We are perfectly happy with that but we tried Douwe’s at a restaurant years ago and both agree it’s some of the best coffee we’ve ever had. Though it’s not as inexpensive as Dunkin, it is certainly more reasonable than many luxury/gourmet coffees but I’d match it up against any of them. It tastes like a darker breakfast blend. While it has a rich flavor, there is no bitterness while sipping and no bitter aftertaste. I highly recommend it.
