My lounge is on the first floor of a townhouse, and I've struggle to isolate my speakers from the suspended wooden floors which not only produces a bloomy overbearing resonate bass, but impacts my neighbours if I turn up my music.So I set out on an isolation mission, and some isolation spikes, two granite chopping boards snd a pack of this foam later and we're onto a winner.I've mounted the spikes on the bottom chopping board, then put five segments of this foam (located like the dots on the 5 dot side of a dice), and topped it by another granite chopping board.The result is a nice stable platform, and the foam is robust enough to ensure the speakers don't rock dangerously. Yes they will move slightly if you load them, but against other solutions I've tried this is by far the most stable.The good news is the speakers now sound transparent and punchy and if you head downstairs the ceilings are no longer resonating with bass to annoy others.So in summary, not cheap for a few bits of foam offcuts, but as it works I'll give it some latitude and recommend it. Now looking to do similar with the subwoofer.

just does the job well. isolation pads for HiFi bits cost a fortune - so these, cut to size, make a much more sensible option.

Good number for the price. I have put under bed posts to reduce sound vibration and has helped.

The quality of the pads seems to be different comparing the same batch. Some looks good, others not much, the cut is not clean. And I had a damaged pad, I won’t be able to use it.

This is a great product! It was a very effective and cost efficient solution for our shock absorbing needs!My wife and I had new years' resolutions to lose a "few" pounds, so we dusted off the old treadmill and began in earnest in the first week of January; waking up at 5am each morning to engage in our fitness programme. Little did we know that we were disturbing the neighbours. One morning I was running at full-pelt on the treadmill (with headphone music on max) when my wife interrupts me to say the neighbours have complained it's too loud! I nearly fell off the wretched treadmill!We're good neighbours so I popped wrong with a box of chocolates and an apology later that evening and a promise that we'd find a solution to the problem. (By the way, it transpired that our neighbours had been suffering in silence for quite some time!)Anyway, that afternoon I went straight onto the internet to research. I found a product the I thought would work but it would cost £400! (I know we bought this treadmill to lose pounds - but that's not what we had in mind!). Actually that company was v good and suggested we try other solutions first and if they didn't work they would loan us the pads for 2 wks to confirm they were effective before making the purchase.I was v skeptical when I bought these pads, because they didn't look v impressive AND we already had some foam in place (purchased elsewhere) which had not worked. However, these were relatively cheap so we thought "why not?".The results were amazing! Admittedly, we've used these pads in combination with the foam we already had in place, but hey, we had them already, so why not maximise the effect. And they worked like a dream! I tested these with the neighbour at increasing treadmill speeds and lo and behold they work!This product has enabled us to keep our new years' resolution, strengthen our neighbour relations and we didn't have to rob the bank to buy them!So what are you waiting for - buy now!BTW - I've lost nearly 10kg in 10 wks. Bought these to go under my treadmill wheels and they really help to reduce the noise and the impact from steps on the treadmill. Needed as I have wooden floors throughout my house and without these it shakes and is a racket. Good value for money.

I bought these thinking they would help with a floor vibration from a downstairs neighbour. They are made of thick, light foam and are not rubber as indicated. Absolutely useless. Put any weight on them and they go as flat as a pancake and the vibration continues. Also tried them under my stereo speakers, no good whatsoever. They probably cost pennies to make and I paid over £12 for them, which is a rip off for what they are - rubbish.

Stevige schuimblokjes waar toch een flexibiliteit & demping in zit.Ik heb ze gebruikt om trillingen in de vloer te dempen zodat ze niet doortrillen in het bedframe. Omdat daarbij de poten slechts op een klein punt drukken, heb ik er zelf een plankje van eenzelfde maat op gelegd om de druk van de poot te verdelen over het hele blokje. Uiteindelijk had ik 3 pads + het plankje + nog een rubberen voetje nodig. Maar de pads op zich dempen zeker goed.Zou ook zeker goed voor een wasmachine oid werken, maar ik raad wel aan om er iets hards op te leggen om de druk goed te verdelen.

Für meinen Zweck eher nicht optimal (Kaffeevollautomat von Küchenplatte entkoppeln), nimmt kaum Geräusche weg, allerdings recht stabil. Vielleicht ist der Schaum schon etwas zu dicht. Der Geruch nach dem Auspacken verfliegt, wenn es etwas an der frischen Luft ausgelüftet hat

Separan la maquina del suelo. Reducen mucho el ruido y sobretodo la vibracion de mi maquina de andar, hay mucha diferencia de poner las gomas a no ponerlas, basta con pegar la oreja en el suelo para ver la diferencia de lo que escucha el vecino de abajo. Para que las gomas trabajen bien, no se claven o se deformen por ponerlas bajo una superficie pequeña como e visto en las fotos de otros clientes le hice una base con unos tapones de pvc para que trabajen toda la goma y asi hacen muy bien su cometido sacandoles todo el rendimiento, no se marcan ni deforman, despues de usar la cinta la guardo y las gomas siempre estan nuevas. De esta manera duraran para siempre sin estropearse. Para ir mas rapido a la hora de ponerlas e pegado las gomas a las tapas con 5 gotas de loctite y asi me es mas comodo el ponerlas y quitarlas cuando uso la cinta.

Il y a une très légère odeur de pétrole si on met le nez dessus. On ne la sent pas à 1-2 m de distance. J'ai mis les cales dehors pendant 2 jours pour essayer de l'enlever. Elle est toujours présente mais pas très perceptible.Vivant dans un appartement, par prudence, le tapis de marche a été posé sur un tapis en laine, sur lequel les cales ont été placées. Le choc des pas lors de la marche est très amorti.
