I little difficult to snap off the backs the first few times, but they are piercers. I bought them because I haven’t been wearing my earrings-during the pandemic (I rarely leave the house) so my ear holes were closing and hurt and were irritated when I did put earrings on. A few days of wearing these and a bit of alcohol and good as new. These look great, stay on and are bit thicker than commercial fashion posts. They are comfortable enough to wear 24-7 while sleeping and showering. Wish I had gotten them sooner. So happy with them.

Very suitable for ears that have been pierced for over 35 years. Comfortable to sleep in, almost like you have nothing in your ears. Would recommend for beginners and experience earring wearers. Great value for the money...awesome stocking stuffers

These studs are just what I wanted: a little bit thicker and also decorative. They are perfect to prevent those stubborn piercings from closing up. Delivery was earlier than expected, too. I recommend!

About 20 years ago, I got my second ear piercings. These piercings have not be used for over 10 years. Fast forward to a month ago, bored at home, I decided to try putting in earrings. I was successful but it was super tight. I bought these to essentially hold the holes open as they re-heal. These are thicker posts as I wanted. Within a week, any of the discomfort (similar to an initial piercing) was gone. My skin is not irritated from the metal. The backs are super secure and the earring is sturdy overall (nice with mask usage). I can’t speak to using a piercing gun or anything as that was not required for my purpose. I just gently worked them in and turn them regularly.

I have two piercings in each ear. Many years ago I stopped wearing earrings in the secondary piercing and usually wore only french wires in the primary piercings. As such, the secondary piercings had nearly closed and the primary piercing holes had contracted. These hygienic, higher gauge, stainless steel posts were perfect to revive my piercings. With slight coaxing, I was able to insert them into each piercing. The posts are nice and the backs snap tightly into place which is perfect as I intend to wear them continuously for six to eight weeks and then several nights a month to maintain the piercings perpetually. Vendor also provided complimentary spare pair of earring backs.
