Excellent moisturizer. Light. Cream free.

For years I thought my skin needed less moisturizer. It turned out it needed more hydration. I almost never write reviews, but this product deserves one. I live in a high desert climate with very hard water. I have combination skin that becomes oily when it’s dehydrated, along with very sensitive eyes. Heavy creams often leave me greasy or eventually irritate my eyes. This gel feels almost like applying water. It spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and leaves virtually no film or tackiness once it dries. Despite feeling so lightweight, my skin actually feels hydrated instead of just coated. Within the first couple of weeks, I noticed my face staying less oily throughout the day. My skin simply felt more balanced. An unexpected bonus is that it doesn’t bother my eyes at all. I can use a small amount around my upper orbital area without the stinging or watering I’ve experienced with many moisturizers. I’ve also started using it on my forearms and hands, where age and desert dryness are becoming more noticeable, and my skin looks healthier and feels much more comfortable. I even convinced my husband, who normally dislikes lotions because they feel sticky, to try it on one leg after a shower. The next day that leg visibly looked better than the untreated one, and he commented that he couldn’t even feel it after it absorbed. If you dislike heavy moisturizers but your skin is actually dehydrated, don’t let the lightweight texture fool you. This has become one of those products I genuinely look forward to using. Plus, a little goes a long way, so not only is this product affordable, it will last ages.
