An Average Installment
Volume 3 of Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! continues the story of the Asakusa, Kanamori, and Mizusaki's high school animation club. This volume contains chapters 16 through 23 of the story. This volume notably introduces a fourth major character to the group, Doumeki, the sole member of the school's Audio Club. In addition to that, Eizouken continues to learn about the world of animation with more focus on the sound aspect with Doumeki's help and create a new animation to sell at a convention.Overall, I thought that this installment in the series was weaker than the first two. To start with the positive aspects, I definitely appreciated the same kind of storytelling that has been a staple of this series so far. It is enjoyable seeing the established trio of Eizouken meeting a new collaborator in Doumeki. Also, I really like the sequence showing how Kanamori got interested in how to run a good business and how those principles that she learned as a young girl are applied to Eizouken in the present. And, of course, this volume continues to explore Asakusa's mind and various creative thoughts about fictional worlds that are a true staple of this series. However, there are some serious weak points that mar this volume. First, the artwork overall seemed noticeably sloppier than in the previous volumes where it seems like characters are off-model half of the time. While no one is unrecognizable, this still felt lazy. In addition, I was rather disappointed with the unfocused story that leads up to Eizouken attending a convention. Unlike the two previous story arcs, there was not enough focus on the creation of their third animation. Finally, it felt like Mizusaki was pushed to the side and barely had any lines throughout this volume despite being a main character.I must also comment on the physical aspect of this volume. I noticed several pages with messy printing giving some panels a blurred appearance. On top of that, while the first two volumes had a glossy cover typical of manga, this had a flat finish. It is very disappointing to see this downgrade in physical quality even though I still paid top dollar for this volume. In conclusion, while this volume is generally enjoyable for the dedicated fan, more casual readers may find this to be a letdown. If you really liked the anime and/or really enjoyed the first two volumes, you may get some enjoyment out of this.

I Love This Series
The amount of happiness that this series gives me isnt quantifiable. If you like animation and the study and process of animation then you will adore this series aswell.Even if you dont do specifically animation, just any kinda artistic pursuit in general, you will love the kinda things that this manga has to tell and celebrate and enjoy. It has some of the most incredible art that ive ever seen in a manga as well. It is bursting with such personality and such a fantastic uniqueness that isnt found in many other mangas, and id go so far to say that the art and designs are some of the most inspiring and interesting and beautiful that ive ever seen no matter the context.I only finally finished this volume recently because the enjoyment and energy that it fills me with to read just one chapter about these girls adventures is such a boost for my own creativity that i felt like i needed to ration it out because it doesnt seem that the translations are coming out very quickly. So at this point i am very eager for the next volume.I also decided to write this review because i was surprised that it wasnt just straight up 5 star for how amazing it is, but then again most of the time i imagine most non glowing reviews for books on amazon are about the product being damaged rather than disliking the book. Because i mean at this point in our society you probably have already researched whether or not you will like a book before you go way out of your way to buy an actual physical copy.
