Gleich vorweg , das Buch wendet sich in erster Linie an erwerbsmäßige Pilzzüchter aber auch ambitionierte Hobbyzüchter bietet es wertvolle Hilfestellung !Alles was einem in der gewerblichen Pilzzucht das Leben schwer machen kann , also Fieslinge wie Bakterien , Viren , Schimmelpilze u. Insekten werden hier genau beschrieben , dass Fotomaterial dazu ist einfach klasse !Selbstverständlich werden auch Lösungsvorschläge u. Tipps gebracht wie man diesen Plagegeistern Herr wird !Fachlich kompetent geschrieben mit vorzüglichen Fotomaterial !

I teetered between giving this four or five stars. It is in many ways a great book. My only complaint is that this would have benefitted from going deeper as the discussion seemed a little light in parts. That said it presents a nice overview and review of pests, diseases and assorted other quality-related problems encountered by commercial button-mushroom producers. I grow only other species of edibles but still found it very helpful in my own ongoing operation.The field of commercial mushroom propagation would benefit from the existence of a larger and more technical reference work but this thin volume seems to be the only book available on this subject. Despite the small size it was a good value for its price.

Good book coveres all topics of the subject in a clear and practical way.
