Venture Pal40L Lightweight Packable Travel Hiking Backpack Daypack

I use this backpack for day hikes. It fits my bear spray on one side and my water bottle on the other in the mesh pockets. I can fit my emergency/med kit with room for spare layers in the main pocket. I tend to shove my outer layers into the bag about 15 minutes into a hike. I like the plastic pocket for wet clothing. The front pocket is a convenient place for snacks or anything else that you don't want to dig around for.There's a small pocket inside the front pocket that I wish had a zipper, but I use it to carry ID and a little cash if I think I'll want to stop and grab some food on my way home (usually if I'm going with friends).Overall it is a lightweight, comfortable, affordable daypack that does what I need it to. It's nothing fancy, but it's held up and it looks nice. No complaints after 6 hikes with it.The little whistle on the front is nice too. I've never needed to use it, but it's nice to know it's there in easy reach if I ever got into a bad spot.
