Purchased for mom. She seems happy with it, has gotten a lot of use out of it.

Regarding reviewers stating that the ruler had a paper backing / can't see thru...The lines are indeed printed on the acrylic, the paper backing is a protective coating which can be removed. The paper backing really doesn't look removable, but it is!Regarding the "wrong" dimensions claimed in other reviews... the dims are correct, and explained in the instructions. The markings don't indicate the size of strip you are about to cut, but the finished size of the triangle or rhombus you will have made (even accounting for 1/4" seam allowance). See attached picture. Note that my measuring tape is zero'd at one seam allowance. And the measurement lines still seem to measure 1/4" long...that's your other seam allowance.I bought this to make tumbling blocks, but it looks like it'll be so much more versatile than that!I expected an acrylic ruler, but I also received a booklet with cutting instructions (both right and left handed) and sewing/assembly tips.Most excellent!

Exactly as described. Nice and thick, I expect it will hold up to heavy use too. Can’t wait to put it to the test!

Received and very happy. For those complaining about the paper backing. It is removeable mine come off with a little effort getting it started on a corner.

Confusing to use as it calls for 3" strips yet the ruler does not fit on a 3" strip...it overhangs.
