good 8 step (7 steps + platform) ladder but no points for quality control. there are at least a hundred scratch and scoff marks despite the thick, double layered protective plastic it came in, and also what sounds like broken bits of plastic rattling around within the hollow frame.otherwise a decent ladder. when deployed in "A" configuration, it measures 227x160x54 cm so needs more space than a regular ladder. the top platform stands at 177 cm high (also in "A") and the step just under it is 154cm high. the platform has a couple of holes for your tools. the hinges bend to fold the ladder, are made of metal and attached firmly on both sides with rivets. weights just under 8 kilos. very stable as long as the ground is even and the top "bar" of the ladder gives you something to lean on even when on the topmost step.
