Very easy to use and portable. READ Instructions!
I have used this a few time now and it is very east to use. First before you use this ; increase the heat just enough to melt solder on the tip, then wipe it off. Do this several times to tin the tip. When you solder just turn the heat up high enough to melt the solder, then heat the wire before applying solder. I like this because heat can be very controlled. No cord to drag around and portable. I would buy again!

Handy and Reliable
Perfect for when you need a cordless rotary tool. The other brand is nice, but I had a fair amount of Milwaukee Tool M12 tools and batteries, so it made sense to go with the Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool. I use it more than I thought I would. As an RC modeler, I am always working on something that requires a rotary tool and this is so handy to just grab and grind, or whatever task you have. I've used it for house projects as well. Nothing beats cordless! Thankfully all tool bits and collets from the "D" brand work with this.

Great podiatry tool
I had some very heavy calluses on my toes and feet. This little Dremel with a sandpaper barrel disc does a wonderful job. Run it at low speed and go easy. Does a great job better than my Podiatrist does.

Convenient, but motor power and bit holding friction could be a bit better
Definitely more convenient than pulling out the corded Dremel versions, and bringing an extension cord. Works reasonably well, and the low power motor only puts a small drain on the battery, so runtime is very good. I find the motor to be slightly weaker, and the speed control slowing down noticeably more under the same load than the same size corded unit. Any slight amount of drag while using a grinding wheel or wire brush, at anything below the highest speed settings, slows it down quite a bit, or even stops it. I've found that the speed control needs to be increased while under load to try and get the desired speed while working. When removing it from the work for a no-load condition, the speed then screams a lot higher than where you want to use it at, but that's workable. It could definitely be better at lower speeds. I also notice that the chuck has less hold than my other rotary tools. There's no way to do any better than finger tight on the collar, since it's not a hex you can put a wrench on to, and it just allows bits to slip more easily than my other rotary tools, and work their way out and fly off the tool dangerously if you're not careful. After a few "launched" bits, I've learned to just do a minute on the work, then lift it up and visually check the length of the shaft outside the chuck again, or just shut it down, loosen it, push it all the way back in, and crank down on the collar again. The collar is not working it's way loose, it's staying at what seems to be the same tightness, but won't grip the bit or put enough force or friction on it to keep a bit attached if there's anything rubbing on the inside of a wheel or brush to keep working it out of the tool. I'm half tempted to lightly run a small needle file or tap into it just to score the surface and give it a better hold on bits, but haven't gone that far yet. Overall, I still like it, it's done the job OK, and will go to the cordless convenience first on most short / quick jobs rather than pull out a corded one. Not a bad tool, but looking forward to the next upgraded version that might have some improvements.

Another great Milwaukee tool
I wanted a battery powered rotary tool as the corded tools are a pain to use if you aren't near an outlet. I already had a couple of Milwaukee M12 tools so this seemed like a good choice to keep my battery/charger herd from growing. This tool has the usual great Milwaukee build quality and features I value. It has similar power to my Dremel corded tool and a speed dial to give you the perfect speed for any job. All of my standard 1/8" shaft bits work, so I didn't have to buy new bits either. Battery life with the standard M12 batteries is sufficient for my needs, and there are higher capacity batteries if needed.

Way better then a dremel.
What an amazing little tool. This replaced a cordless dremel that would never hold a charge long even when brand new. Another great addition to my M12 line up. All my dremel accessories including router bit and shield are compatible. I never thought I would use this tool for as often as I do. Can cut through bearing races like a champ with precision.

In general, I really like Milwaukee M12 system tools. The only complaint is their weight! But that is hopefully high quality motors. They feel robust. But by goodness to they add up in the toolbox! I'm no Milwaukee fan boy. In fact, I despise the standard pack out, particularly the 3pc set most people start out with. It has its place. However, I've worked with a lot of power tools and finally settled on the M12 because of the batteries.

Packaged and shipped perfectly, and the tool itself is the cordless replacement I was looking for to supplant my corded Dremel. It does accommodate Dremel bits, and you can also replace the duck with the Dremel chuck for greater compatibility!

Dejo de funcionar la segunda vez que lo use. Parece ser un error comun en esta herramienta. El boton de encendido y apagado no funciona y esta atorada en una sola velocidad. La unica forma de apagar la herramienta es quitando la bateria.
