Rabbits love it and so does bearded dragon. Very sturdy. Easy to fold. The mat would be for the top as the rabbits but 2 holes in it so will be fine as a sunshade.

Update May 2022 - I had an issue with the catch snapping off and I wanted to update this review to say that I received excellent customer service when I contacted the seller via Amazon. Really quick response and resolution I cannot fault them. The pen is still excellent and still a lifesaver for our now 6 month old puppy. I’m so glad we bought this and would highly recommend it.This is a great purchase for our cockapoo puppy. It’s a good size for him as his daytime play pen and we use it all the time as a spare pair of hands if we can’t watch him and also it’s a good safe space he chooses to retreat to if he’s tired or wanting to relax and chew his toys.We have found it a great time out zone for him in the early days when he was very mouthy and would nip when tired. We found that containing him in a safe, comfortable space - not as a punishment - would allow him to redirect any overtired energy into chewing a toy.We find it secure, but I’ve deducted a point because when we draped a towel over the top (it’s near to the door for wiping his feet) he will stand up to pull the towel off and the motion of his weight pounding against the pen has unhooked the closure a few times. Luckily he hasn’t worked out that this would work as an escape method, and we don’t leave him in for long periods so he hasn’t ever actually tried to escape it but for a heavy breed intent on escape it might not be ideal.
