Q: I appreciate the refills, but it seems that it would be impossible to match the refill to the pen. Suggestions?

I save my empty cases and put refills in them. That way I can scribble a little and pick a case that matches. Sometimes, the ink looks dark but when put on paper, it is lighter than I thought it would be. The extra cases allow me to match colors better. Sizes are pretty much universal. g2

They are in plastic holders… There’s four of them. I’ve taken them out of the plastic… And put them in a pencil box. I love the pens! They are awesome and so much fun to use

Yes, on the caps of each pen have a color coded number And each pen has its own refill with matching numbers. I personally love this set of pens and quickly became my favorite brand.
