Does a wonderful job exfoliating my skin

I really wanted to like these because I bought a cheaper version from Walmart before and I loved them. I don't think these held the soap well when I used them but the size is nice. I would not buy again. From the reviews I read prior to buying I was expecting more from them.

I like rough washcloths. I get one from a local store that's like washing with a dull Brillo pad and that's what I like. Exfoliate those dead skin cells to Hades! However, this is no such cloth. From the looks of it I thought it would be a little on the rough side but it is quite soft. The product description says it's gentle enough to exfoliate the elbows but certainly not my elbows. It feels like every other cloth washcloth on the market, no difference at all. If you have ever used a loofah then you know what it feels like after a bunch of uses. The fibers get too soft and you have to get a new one.
