Get the bigger one
Great product and very sturdy. I used it in very heavy rain and wind on a number of occasions and had no problems with it. I would have liked a 2.5m option but the 86 inch is JUST big enough for me and my fishing kit. The sides are not a gimmick they work to keep the wind off you and help anchor the brolly down. For the price it is a great deal.

Absolutely delighted!!
Fantastic piece of kit for an absolute bargain. After having to cancel several weekend fishing trips thanks to heavy rain which only seems to want to fall when I have time off work. I decided enough was enough and went in search of something more portable than the 4 man tent I have contemplated taking with me several times. This one seemed pretty decent so I went for it. It literally arrived the following morning and I immediately set it up in the living room and sat under it like the worlds hairiest kid on Christmas morning, smiling from ear to ear. Phoned my buddy right afterwards and we both went fishing. It housed both of us comfortably as we sat on our gear bags. The pole is as sturdy as them come and those side panels really keep the wind out keeping you surprisingly warm inside compared to one of my friends umbrellas which had a bent pole after the first use and offered much less protecting from the wind.

As a shelter from the sun it's great.
I just wanted this as a shelter from the sun, which it does perfectly. I'd seen a friend with one of these and wanted one. I also bought seperately on ebay a spike for going into the ground first then putting the brolly rod into it.(on the friends recommendation) makes it a lot easier to put up and the brolly is not getting damaged being forced into the ground. Some small issues :1. Hardly any stitching on one of the loops for pegging down (see pic) I reinforced it sewing a few stitches.2. The plastic 'D' clip on another loop just crumbled.I have to say that the sellers' customer service was exceptional. Immediate response, thoroughly recommend the seller.Overall i'm very pleased with this, on the basis i'm only using it for a sun shade. So can't give any feedback on how it performs in the rain and/or in windy conditions.

except the stupid plastic eyelets that break
I got one this spring and have had no lproblems, except the stupid plastic eyelets that break. The pictures does not paint a true picture, as to sit in it the way it is set up in the rain, you would need to sit right back to keep your knees from getting soaked and your head would be stuck in the top of the brolly, if you are 4feet tall no problem. If you look again at the photos you will get what I mean. That does not mean you cannot get it to work, just not the way in the photos.

For 25 quidish it's as good as what you can expect....... To be fair prob as good as any other.
Maiden trip this Sunday so watch this space. A bit put off by a few reviews but everything else available seemed the same so thought for the money give it a try.The carry bag is poor. Nothing more than a nylon brolly sleeve, but we have holdall so that's ok.It looks like it will do the job so long as it's not too windy. Not over confident with quality appearance but as previously said what dya get for 25 quid.Anyhow, put it up at home to see how it looks and it really does look the part. Just hope it does the job, for the price can't complain even if it turns out bad.For the money it has to be better than just getting soaked with no cover.Hope it works out cos it really is a decent size and just what I was looking for........

It does the job... just
I agree with the other comments as the pole does not line up straight when in position so it plants in the ground at an angle which is weird but holds. I think it could have done with some more loops on so you can attach the guy ropes where you want when setting up in windy and challenging bank or swim positions.

leaked from every seam
Used this brolly last week and the weather turned started raining the brolly leaked from every seam not a good buy. If you want a good fishing brolly pay the extra money. Waste of money.

A bargain.
I was concerned about it at first as it is a little flimsy but I've used it in strong wind and rain three times and it was fine.Cons: The pegs supplied don't grip the ground and pull out easily. Worth getting a set of corkscrew tent pegs for tough ground. When used as a shelter the headroom is a little low.Pros: It's a brolly for under £40 and makes the difference between having to pack up early or not. The seller was very helpful with any queries.Overall, great value for money.
