Nice quality
Used by master automotive mechanic. Nice to the touch and flexible to give good comfort level. Tough enough for the harsh shop conditions. It's very similar to the Dickies product being a light enough weight to fit your arms up in a vehicle being worked on yet just warm enough to go outside in New England winter. Works great 30f outside to 60f inside shop. I recommend it. I've used Dickies and other work gear outfitters. This jacket is at least as good maybe the best yet.

Time of use
I was issued this exact jacket in blue 24 years ago. It is still made the same, light enough to move around, yet heavy enough to keep the temps at bay to about 40...if your working. This is a working jacket, and it holds up!

Tight on the waist
So i bought this and returned the dickies version bec. this one has two buttons on the sleeve cuff. Unfortunately the bottom hem of the jacket - waistline is too tight. Its bec. the design of the jacket is sort of V shape. It tapers in the lower half portion of the jacket. Otherwise it would’ve been perfect.

Eisenhower jacket
The workmanship on this Eisenhower jacket was quite good and the price was very good.

Pretty Perfect!
Needed a work jacket that wasn't a full-on insulated winter coat, but warmer than a hoodie and this fits the bill.I have worn the Dickies Eisenhower and also own a Carhartt Detroit duck jacket that I wear outside of work and I will say this Red Kap is thinner and lighter than both of those jackets, but it is deceivingly warm. I was surprised by how warm it is being as thin as it is. The Red Kap is a softer and less-thick material than the Dickies or Carhartt, but it's an amazing value at the price. It has been in the 30s lately, and I can go out in this with just a t-shirt and polo on under it and I'm fine. The fit is right on. Order a small if you have a 38-42 chest. The only complaint I have about it is that the taffeta lining makes more noise than usual when you move around, but whatever.
