I went from a Hunter ProC to this model and it was an easy install. Happy to have my system working again after weeks of a dead screen on my ProC and a failed attempt to replace the capacitors on the ProC control panel.

This is my second Hunter sprinkler controller and it is very user friendly. They added a light so you can easily read the LED screen. I chose not to do Wi Fi as we were concerned we would not get a strong signal.

As a homeowner, this unit is easy to use and is very reliable. Weather reports, yearly logs of watering, advanced notices of program changes for weather related events are great. The rain sensor (separate purchase) is really good also. However, the current APP version has several usability bugs that forced me to NOT upgrade on my iPhone, as I like it as it is. Other than that, I really recommend this unit.

I purchased this controller to replace one that was in service eighteen years at least. It was a snap everything lined up real nice and programming was a easier than the older model. The yard maintenance guy I use once in a while said he do for $500. and install a superior controller. I asked him how come everytime we discuss doing something it's always $500.? So I did a little research and found this controller. Easy installation and programing. It's been in service now for about six months working just fine.

The box was completely broken... does not look like a brand new Unfortunately I can't try it before a week ... wish me luck

Excellent value for money, brought to replace one that was blown in a lightning strike. Would buy again every day of the week. Easy to use, easy to setup and adjust.
