Beautiful and Healthy
Beautiful little shrimps, arrived on time and were packaged very well. I was a little worried when I opened the box because they were all a muddy brick redish brown color but I figured it was from shipping stress and it was, they colored up almost immediately after being added to my tank. I'm not entirely convinced that they are all Bloody Marys though, a few of them are quite opaque and look more like Painted Fire Reds. At first I assumed this may be because they were about to molt but it's been a week now and most have molted and there are still a few opaque ones. Also there are a few with white legs and whiskers... take this with a grain of salt since I'm new to Bloody Marys but I was led to believe (by the internet not the seller) that true Bloody Mary shrimp would be entirely red with red legs/whiskers as well since it's their flesh that is colored not their shells. Either way I am not at all disappointed, they are healthy and busy and extremely bright red. The seller was quick to respond to questions and highly recommended on various shrimp and fish forums. One thing that really surprised me is that these little shrimp are absolutely fearless, I have them in with some nano fish who were very curious about their new tank mates and the shrimp didn't even seem to notice them, just continued happily munching away on the moss and driftwood. All photos are unedited but were taken with a samsung galaxy note 5 which does tend to adjust contrast/saturation a tiny bit. The lighting changes depending on time of day so some photos have a sunrise/red tint to them, sorry!

worth every penny, SoShrimp is the best
Shipping only took two days with USPS, they arrived healthy and active. One of the females even has eggs though she accidentally dropped a few in transit. I was impressed with the packaging; it was professionally packed with styrofoam, insulation, and a heat pack and the shrimp were clinging to live moss in a breathing bag that releases the CO2. I drip acclimated them while changing out the water incrementally for 1hr 30mins and they have taken to the water parameters in my paludarium with seemingly no extra stress. They are very active and are not hiding like I thought they would. Despite losing some coloration due to the stress of shipping, the shrimp are very vibrant orange. They look even better in person! The coloration is dense unlike some of the opaque shrimp in the pictures. I have ordered shrimp from other websites and sellers, but SoShrimp is the best by far. Many other neo shrimp sellers will pretty much just give you their poorly colored culls while advertising their best colored shrimp, but SoShrimp doesn't do that, they deliver quality shrimp for a fair price. You'll be hard pressed to find the same high-quality, rare colored shrimp for the same price.

They're so cute
They arrived very well packaged, alive, and happy. They have acclimated to my tank quickly and got to work cleaning all the live plants. They're small and I believe I have all males but that's ok, I'm happy with my purchase!

Beautiful colorful shrimp, almost painted fire quality.
The media could not be loaded. These are nice shrimp. Not quite painted fire grade I’d say fire red, but great coloring just speckled legs on most (including females)They’ve been in the tank for about a week or two now and most have been doing great. I got three berried mothers which was exciting, sadly they are the only three that have since died.. I tried to make a diy egg tumbler for the second mother but it failed.. purchased one on eBay that is shipping from japan, and got another larger one from the lfs to have just in case. Unluckily my last berried female was belly up when I got home.. eggs where still colored, so I popped them in the tumbler (removing shrimp eggs is not easy!) they are in the tumbler now in hopes that the stress of shipping while pregnant just over stressed them and it took a week to take its toll..I use remineralized ro water to 250 tds all parameters are good from test strips and api kit. So just hoping this will be the end of deaths.. the other females are starting to saddle so we will see soon enough.I’d also like to add the moss packs that they sell are some of the nicest I’ve seen. Super clean, bright and generous.Overall I would order from these guys again. The shrimp are gorgeous and I appreciated that he held off on shipping until a Monday.

Healthy and hungry
The media could not be loaded. All 11 shrimp in the bag arrived alive. Great blue color. I imagine buying in the spring or fall when temperatures are mild aids in the survival rate. The video is from March, day of arrival, they started cleaning the tank and eating right away. Since then only two have died (as of late June), but at least three have hatched shrimplets. Of those, a handful have survived to a decent size (in a 10g tank with a betta). I absolutely have more than 11 shrimp now. The babies have been different colors of course, one almost black, a couple that were mostly clear, and many in different shades of blue (but again to reiterate the adults I received were all a beautiful blue.)

Not Bloody Mary Shrimp
1 of the 10 shrimp was had passed away, not a huge deal. The real problem is these are not Bloody Mary Shrimp. They look nothing like the shrimp in the photo, which is an actual photo of bloody mary shrimp

wrong shade of blue, but all alive, young and healthy
The media could not be loaded. i think the mailman was attempting murder by putting them in the mailbox, which is so far from our house we have to drive to it before our stuff gets cooked in the metal oven under the sun- despite me putting instrcutions for them to be at the front doorbut i was prepared and watched the shipment as soon as i saw it was coming today and we drove down there as soon as we saw it was wrongly put there again.evil mail deliver-er aside im ecstatic that the first live animal ive ever ordered instead of shopping locally came alive, and my mother whos a senior and very new to this hobby ive taken on was happy too, she even thinks theyre beautiful when shes compared every other shrimp i have to bugs! even though theyre the wrong shade of blue i hope they might make some cool mixtures with the male and female yellows i have in there with them.
